I had my window open today. The wind whips the curtains around, a swirl of green through my bedroom. The house smelling like summer, especially upstairs. That smell we can see every year - the smell of the house that was shut up all winter, finally able to breathe a crack. A bit of outside coming inside. That glorious smell of spring.
